Official Economic Relief Program 2024. Most taxpayers eligible for economic impact payments linked to the coronavirus tax relief have already received or claimed their payments via the recovery rebate credit. The december appropriations bill provided $25 billion of federal relief to be administered by the emergency rental assistance (era) program for disbursement to existing state and local government programs.

Starting in march 2020, the coronavirus aid, relief, and economic security act (cares act) provided economic impact payments of up to $1,200 per adult for eligible individuals and $500 per qualifying child under age 17. The december appropriations bill provided $25 billion of federal relief to be administered by the emergency rental assistance (era) program for disbursement to existing state and local government programs.
